All the characters and much OF scenery is depicted in the form OF LEGO toys. During the course of the game, they will battle enemy PIRATES, nasty soldiers, skeletal ghost PIRATES, angry island natives, and sea monsters. While generally in search of treasure, pirates tend to get sidetracked helping out friends in need. Storylines revolve around the adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow and his ragtag crew OF PIRATES. Starting from the port-OF-call hub world, players can enter into scenes from films. LEGO PIRATES OF CARIBBEAN lets you play through the full stories of all four Disney PIRATES movies, including the new Stranger Tides. There is also a bit OF very cartoony sexuality in the form OF characters ogling one another in over-top Looney Tunes fashion. Still, kids will have many chances to see LEGO characters get their plastic parts lopped off by swords. And all characters are depicted as LEGO toys, so character dying is only seen as a toy figure breaking into its component pieces. While game feature a good deal of fighting, puzzle-solving and exploration are more key to gameplay than violence. There is some spooky imagery, including skeletal ghost PIRATES. There is also some slapstick humor in cinematic scenes, including kick to crotch. Still, as they are cartoony toy people, violence is never realistic. Characters break up into LEGO pieces when defeat, though in the case of swordfighting, this can sometimes look like dismemberment. There are minor explosions when bombs or dynamite are used to destroy obstacles. In certain sequences, you'll use crosshair to fire cannon from a first-person perspective.
Grunts and yowls can be heard during combat. LEGO toy pirates battle one another with swords, fists, and old-fashion guns.
